Our Herd

Peony is our largest chondro negative mini cow and the clear leader of the pack. She has a strong, confident presence but balances it perfectly with a love for treats and time spent with people.

Since joining our farm, Peony has truly come into her own. She’s grown comfortable with us, now enjoying being petted and brushed, and continues to show her gentle, trusting side more each day. Her beautiful dark red color makes her stand out just as much as her personality.

Peony just welcomed our very first MmKay Mini Cow baby, Clifford, and we couldn’t be more over the moon. Watching her settle into motherhood has been such a joy. She’s proving to be the most incredible momma, protective and attentive, while still trusting us enough to let us love on her sweet little boy. We’re so proud of her and can't wait to watch Clifford grow up before moving to his forever home with such an amazing mom by his side.

Chloe is our sweet chondro negative girl with a beautiful dun coat and the most perfect Highland-style face. She may be the most timid in our herd, but her quiet, gentle nature makes her just as special.

While she’s still a bit shy, Chloe’s curiosity is always there, and we’re confident that with time and consistency, she’ll continue to come out of her shell and grow more comfortable around us. Chloe is currently pregnant and due in early September, and we’re so excited to watch her step into motherhood.

We’re looking forward to seeing her confidence grow and watching her become an amazing momma. 

Amber is Chloe’s lookalike and her very best friend. She’s a beautiful dun chonrdo negative cow and has the most impressive wide-spread horns you’ve ever seen.

While her look might come off a little fierce, Amber is truly sweet at heart. She’s started to warm up to us, happily accepting treats, but still prefers to hang back with Chloe toward the quieter side of the herd.

Like Chloe, we believe that with time, patience, and consistency, Amber will continue to come out of her shell and grow more comfortable. We’re excited to watch her confidence build and see her personality shine more each day.

Cindy is Peony’s right-hand girl, always at the front of the herd and first in line when treats are involved. She’s similar in size to Peony but still keeps that shorter, compact mini stature.

She is presumed chondro-negative and, like Peony, is said to be a seasoned momma, something we’re excited to see more of here on our farm.

Cindy’s coloring is truly something special. She has the most beautiful orangish-red coat you’ve ever seen, which has earned her the nickname “Trump” around the farm (haha).

With her bold personality and eye-catching look, Cindy is definitely one you can’t miss.

Although Elle has the sweetest name, she can be quite the little firecracker. She came to us as a baby, and we’ve loved watching her grow and develop into a beautiful young mini.

Elle is our only Highpark cross and is chondro-negative. While she’s still growing, we’re already excited to see just how stunning her future calves will be one day.

For now, Elle is soaking up all the attention, getting halter training, plenty of treats, and learning the ropes of farm life. She’s confident enough to step right in with the big girls for snacks, but has also formed a close bond with Peony and her calf.

Elle is expected to mature around 42 inches tall, though she’s stayed on the smaller side so far despite nearing one year old. We can’t wait to watch her continue to grow and see the role she’ll play in our herd.

Shadow is our chondro-negative bull with the best curly hair you’ve ever seen. With his charming looks and sweet but playful personality, he’s truly one of a kind here at MmKay Mini Cows.

He is the smallest full-grown mini in our herd, which makes us especially excited to see the size and quality of the babies he throws. His compact build, gentle nature, and standout curls make him an important part of our breeding program and a favorite around the farm.

We’re proud to have Shadow as part of our herd and can’t wait to watch his legacy grow. 

Bruiser is the smallest, cutest little mini Highland you’ve ever seen. With his black, luscious locks and light blonde-tipped hair, he’s truly a sight to see.

He joined us as a baby last year, and we’re excited for him to begin producing for us next year. Even now, he’s already showing off the personality that makes him such a standout.

Bruiser loves being brushed, getting lots of attention, and has been doing great with his halter training. He’s a little spunky but so much fun to be around, making him a favorite here on the farm.
